Building a Replica Old West False Front Building

Where is this replica being built ? At "White Horse Ranch" . . a  movie set town . . Located in the high desert near Landers Ca. ( click on photo for more information )

Construction continues on Dec. 8th

Construction proceeds 2nd day.

Construction begins Nov. 30th 2010

Dec. 13th The front fully framed.

January 1st 2011 There was a break due to stormy weather and movie filming.

The front with a coat of primer on it.

Lots of progress made Jan 16 & 17th Ready for roofing.

Jan 22nd Half of the roof up.

The metal roof is on.

Feb. 13th The exterior completed

Jan. 27 & 28th   reframing the front to suit the  door and windows that have been aquired.

February 7th.  The front painted, windows in and trim around them.

Saturday Feb. 19th  Board sidewalk built and an actress trying it out.

Mid April 2011 The trim on the cornice and the sign up. A stage coach parked that has seen better days. The frame is restorable.  It will be getting new wheels and a body one day.
